Our Free Reading Assessments give you clear answers about where your K-2 reader stands right now - without pressure, cost, or obligation. In this one-on-one online meeting, we gently check key skills: hearing and playing with sounds, connecting letters to sounds, decoding simple words, recognizing sight words, reading fluently, and understanding what is read.
As a certified teacher trained in the Science of Reading, we look closely at how your child thinks through print, not just whether they get the word right. That means we can pinpoint why reading feels hard and which type of support will make the biggest difference.
After the assessment, we walk you through what we saw in plain language. You receive an overview of your child's strengths, areas that need extra practice, and a recommended starting "scoop level" in our program. You can then decide if our 6-week tutoring sessions or small group options are a good fit.
