Small Group Tutoring

Small Group Tutoring brings early readers together in a warm, interactive setting where they can practice skills alongside classmates at a similar level. Groups stay intentionally small so every child is seen, heard, and gently guided while still enjoying the fun and energy of learning with peers.

Sessions often include lively interactive storytime, echo reading, and shared reading games that strengthen listening, oral language, and comprehension. We weave in the same Science of Reading-based skills used in our one-on-one program - phonics, decoding, vocabulary, and fluency - but with more partner activities and group responses to keep everyone engaged.

This is a wonderful option for siblings or friends who want to learn together, or for families who want structured support at a slightly lower price than private tutoring. Children earn paper ice cream scoops as the group meets goals, building a sense of shared pride. Parents receive brief updates on focus skills and how to support them at home, so the progress you see in group time carries over to everyday reading.
